Gastroenterology is changing and advancing rapidly in the 21st century, and at Gastrointestinal Specialists we provide the most up-to-date, skilled, and experienced services in this important medical specialty.

 

Ours is a large practice devoted to the full range of GI diseases and conditions. These include conditions that involve reflux, ulceration, irritation, inflammation, bleeding, or precancerous or cancerous growths of the GI tract. We work closely with our patients and their families, with referring physicians, and with collaborating and consulting specialists.

Originally established through the association of our founding physicians with Medical College of Pennsylvania (now Drexel University College of Medicine), our practice has provided more than thirty years of outstanding care. During that time, it has grown steadily, with the addition of new specialists and other staff members. Today, it remains in a growth phase in its locations in Philadelphia, Bucks County, and the Main Line.

Gastrointestinal Specialists has 11 board-certified gastroenterologists, a highly qualified nursing staff, and dozens of other dedicated team members in our office. Our doctors are on staff at Aria Health hospitals (Torresdale and Bucks County campuses) and at Roxborough Hospital. All of our physicians have faculty privileges at Drexel University College of Medicine.
